Art, food, nature & community in the rugged Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia

Welcome to Appalachia, where the mountains are steep, the people are often misunderstood, and American history runs deep.

Autumn has arrived and we’ve been busy with small batch production of classic apple butter, garlic, chicken, pork and lamb.

Our homestead animals love eating apples and they always sleep under the stars. We’ve bottled our Mountainside Honey, two years in the making, painstakingly made by the famous “Ladies of Poe Run,” with some assistance from David.

We hope to see you at the Bridgeport Farmers Market the second Sunday every month starting November 10th.
