Get ready for new lambs! It might just be the best and hardest time of the year.
March

David’s crazy about maple syrup. He taps trees and puts the sap through a homemade reverse osmosis filter to reduce it, then he cooks it down on a homemade cooker!
April

April brings digging ramps (wild leeks) and starting vegetable seeds!
May

Spring ephemerals, flowers and such. Plus, curious about how to start vegetables from seed? Margaret starts in March and by May a bunch of seedlings are going in the ground.
June

Spring honey from Tulip Poplar, Apple and Maple. This is also time for garlic scapes. Lets us know and we’ll set some aside for you. Otherwise, they get picked and dehydrated and blended into our Supergreen Seasoning Salt (available at the farmers market or through our website).
July

It’s blueberry season, wonderful blueberry delight. Digging garlic early July, hangs in the rafters of the sheds for a while.
August

Our new batch of Khaki Campbell ducks will be laying their first eggs. We will be busy canning tomato sauce and other foods!
October

Join us for fall colors and Cider Fest. We press apples right off the trees and into tart, sweet cider.
November

Cozy up for first snow (alright, it may have happened in late October), weaving in the woods, processing garlic and making garlic braids.
December

Fresh air and starry nights, sledding, washing wool and hand spinning yarn old school by the fire. Don’t forget holiday baking!
January

Snowy delights, snowshoeing, plus weaving and dyeing wool.
